Our foundation

The St. Katharinen- und Weißfrauenstift is an independent foundation under public law. Our history goes back some 775 years, making us one of the oldest public charitable foundations in Frankfurt am Main. The purpose of our foundation is to directly take care of and support senior women in Frankfurt who are isolated and in need by providing them with an annuity and a residence (somewhere to live). The citizens of Frankfurt generously donate to our foundation. The foundation supports senior women in Frankfurt who are isolated and need by providing financial resources and their own residences.
