Administration department

The board of the foundation in the form of the administration department looks after the St. Katharinen and Weißfrauenstift in accordance with the general local statutes. It consists of the manager, the deputy manager and five so-called administrators.

The manager and the deputy manager are appointed by the magistrate. The administrators are proposed by the joint administration department of the city council, which then appoints them for a period of six years.

The current manager is Prof. Dr. Marcus Gwechenberger, and the deputy senior is Ms. Elke Voitl. The other members of the administration department are Ms. Renate von Metzler, Mr. Dr. Ulrich Deutsch and Ms. Dr. h.c. Petra Roth. Mr. Andreas Schreiber and Mr. Klaus Wächter have been appointed as honorary administrators.
